A Russell County Veteran's Memorial has been built on city property located along Highway 40 on the South side of
the Golf Course. Bricks with the name, service, service date and conflict (information must be provided by the Vet or
their family) are being sold for $50.00. All monies from the brick sales go to the Memorial and its upkeep. Please
contact Pohlman-Varner-Peeler at 785-483-2212 for more details to purchase the bricks. The Memorial is up and has many
visitors.
